On September 21, 2021\u00a0the preventive monitoring of the \u201cOpen Practices, Transparency and Integrity for Modern Academia\u201d (OPTIMA) project took place. NAQA is one of the project partners.\u00a0Preventive monitoring\u00a0includes\u00a0collection and analysis of information regarding the current activities of all the partners, discussion of the management and financial aspects.\u00a0It\u00a0also gives an opportunity for stakeholders to share their opinion on the project. The main goal is to analyse the results and progress of the project\u00a0implementation\u00a0and to indicate possible risks and issues.<\/p>\n
International Project Manager\u00a0Albina Tsiatkovska\u00a0presented NAQA activities\u00a0within the project.\u00a0During the project implementation, NAQA\u00a0is\u00a0responsible for the development of\u00a0Monitoring and evaluation guidelines\u00a0(quality plan).<\/p>\n
NAQA representatives also participated in trainings\u00a0on\u00a0open science, open access and open peer review.<\/p>\n
The expected innovative project\u00a0outcome\u00a0is an\u00a0Open peer review\u00a0platform and a\u00a0platform\u00a0of peer reviewers and researchers.\u00a0NAQA supports the idea of applying the approaches of open science in the Ukrainian education and science, as\u00a0they will enhance the quality of higher education and scientific research, level of academic integrity and would bring Ukraine closer to international and\u00a0European\u00a0standards.<\/p>\n
In conclusion, the representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office\u00a0in Ukraine\u00a0Svitlana Shytikova,\u00a0Zhanna Talanova\u00a0and\u00a0Kateryna Zhdanova provided\u00a0the\u00a0detailed feedback.
