{"id":1774,"date":"2021-02-11T14:10:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-11T12:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.naqa.gov.ua\/?p=1774"},"modified":"2022-02-11T14:15:06","modified_gmt":"2022-02-11T12:15:06","slug":"on-official-registration-of-the-study-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.naqa.gov.ua\/?p=1774","title":{"rendered":"On official registration of the study programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dear colleagues,<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">As you may know\u00a0Ukraine recognizes certificates of accreditation of study programmes issued by foreign accreditation agencies.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the Law of Ukraine on Higher Education, Ukrainian higher educational institutions (HEIs) may choose an EQAR-registered agency listed in the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 554-p dated July 10, 2019 (<a id=\"LPNoLPOWALinkPreview_1\" href=\"https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/laws\/show\/554-2019-%D1%80#Text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\">https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/laws\/show\/554-2019-%D1%80#Text<\/a>) to conduct study programme accreditation at their institution. The decisions (accreditation certificates) of these foreign agencies are recognised as equivalent to accreditation by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA).<br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"x_x__Entity x_x__EType_OWALinkPreview x_x__EId_OWALinkPreview_1 x_x__EReadonly_1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ukrainian HEIs actively use this opportunity and accredit their study programmes abroad.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, there are cases when Ukrainian higher education institutions submit\u00a0for foreign accreditation those\u00a0study programmes that are not officially registered in the Unified State Electronic Database for Education of Ukraine. NAQA kindly draws your attention to such cases and warns against accreditation for study programmes that are not officially registered in Ukraine.
