On 18 June, NAQA held a seminar “The Quality of Higher Education: Challenges, Solutions, the Future\u201d at the Dnipro University of Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his opening remarks, Andrii Butenko, NAQA Head, emphasised that modern quality assurance in higher education is not about formal monitoring or paperwork, but about the viability of universities, public trust and the development of human capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The key speakers at the event were Vice Head Nataliia Stukalo, Vice Head Ivan Nazarov, and Head of the Analytics and Training Support Department Oxana Trebenko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seminar programme covered the key areas of transformation in higher education and focused participants\u2019 attention on practical tools for developing the educational environment. The discussion began with an analysis of the role of the modern quality assurance system in the day-to-day organisation of the university\u2019s activities. The discussion on the future external evaluation by NAQA in accordance with European standards, in particular the benefits, recommendations and guidelines of ESG 2027, was of particular interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key practical elements of the seminar included issues relating to the culture of academic integrity as an integral part of the internal quality assurance system, as well as the practical aspects of applying the \u2018List of Significant Drawbacks\u2019 in the work of higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seminar also included a meeting with the \u2018Information Technology\u2019 sectoral expert council, during which participants took part in a Q&A session with Andrii Butenko, NAQA Head; Nataliia Stukalo, Vice Head; Ivan Nazarov, Vice Head; and Iryna Zolotariova, NAQA member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
