On 24 and 25 June, NAQA in collaboration with the Kharkiv IT Cluster, held a workshop “Academic Integrity and AI: How to Develop an Educational Institution\u2019s Policy in Line with New Legislative Requirements” on the international educational platform Ukraine Global Faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The speakers were Ivan Nazarov, NAQA Vice Head, and Leontii Shypilov, Head of the Academic Integrity and One-Time Councils\u2019 Operation Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The key focus of the discussions was to clarify the NAQA\u2019s official position on the new legislative requirements, in particular the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Academic Integrity\u201d, and the development of up-to-date policies on the use of artificial intelligence. Representatives from StrikePlagiarism shared best practices and presented effective tools for the thorough verification of academic work. Participants also received clear guidelines for developing internal regulations and practical recommendations on the ethical and effective integration of AI technologies into the university educational environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
