On 02 July 2026, the final face-to-face training “\u2018Students as Ambassadors of Quality” project took place. The project is being implemented by the Ukrainian Students League in partnership with the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, with the support of the IT company “Genesis”. The closing event of this nationwide series took place at Lviv Polytechnic National University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout June, training sessions were held in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv and Kharkiv, bringing together proactive students keen to influence the quality of education at their universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to the face-to-face training sessions, participants completed an online course developed by experts from NAQA, the Ukrainian Students League and Genesis. The online phase helped them master the basic principles of quality assurance in higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lviv training session opened with a moderated discussion involving Nataliia Stukalo, NAQA Vice Head; Mykyta Kucherov, Chair of the USL Executive Board; and students. They discussed current challenges in the development of higher education quality, student partnership in quality assurance, and opportunities to influence change within universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking on behalf of NAQA, the trainers were Oxana Trebenko, Head of the Analytics and Training Support Department, and Maksym Folomieiev, Head of the PR and International Cooperation Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project\u2019s key value lies in the fact that participants master the full cycle of student agency: from analysing areas for growth and identifying opportunities for improvement to formulating constructive proposals and jointly evaluating the results with the administration. Institutions whose students have joined the project gain reliable and competent partners capable of strengthening their internal quality assurance systems and implementing positive changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next stage lies ahead. In just six months\u2019 time, participants will present the results of implementing their own initiatives at their higher education institutions and share their practical experience of bringing about change.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
