On February 25-26, Lviv Polytechnic National University hosted a round table on the results of the project “Implementation of Education Quality Assurance system through cooperation of the University-Business-Government in HEIs / EDUQAS 586109-EPP-I-2017-1-RO-EPPKA2 -CBHESP (2017-2895 / 001-001)”. The coordinator of the meeting was NAQA member Ihor Oleksiv.
Oleh Matviikiv, Vice-Rector of Lviv Polytechnic National University, made a welcoming speech. NAQA Vice-Head Andrii Butenko presented the NAQA 2020 annual report. Compliance of NAQA activities with ESG-2015 and the results of participation in the Erasmus+ EDUQAS project were analysed by the NAQA Vice-Head Nataliia Stukalo. The speech of Olena Yeremenko, NAQA Vice-Head, concerned the criteria for evaluating study programmes and practical cases of determining compliance.
The next section covered the results of the EDUQAS project at Lviv Polytechnic National University, presented by Ihor Oleksiv, NAQA member. The creation of the Center for Education Quality Assurance at Lviv Polytechnic, taking into account the experience of the EDUQAS project, was presented by the head of the Center Roman Shuliar. Anna Gelesh, Head of the Sector of Study Programs Quality, presented the Training Module for scientific staff “Accreditation Expertise and Features of Quality Assessment of Study Programs”. Olga Pyrog, Head of the Department of Management and International Entrepreneurship, told the participants about ensuring the quality of study programmes at the Department: attracting stakeholders, interviewing students and improving the study programme, taking into account the experience of the EDUQAS project.
The event was fruitful, productive and outlined the vectors of the next steps.
