On March 1-4 ICAI Annual Conference 2021 took place online. NAQA Vice-Head Nataliia Stukalo was one of the speakers in the room “Ukrainian Perspective on Academic Integrity: Launch of the Academic Integrity and Quality Initiative”.
In her presentation, Ms. Natalia Stukalo presented NAQA role in academic integrity culture formation in Ukraine. She revealed the main powers of NAQA and certain aspects of international cooperation in the field of academic integrity. The main problems identified as a result of the accreditations and the prospects for the formation of academic integrity culture in Ukraine were also outlined.
Together with Yana Chapailo, Academic IQ Project Coordinator, American Councils for International Education, Nataliia Stukalo spoke about the main components of the Academic IQ project, its background, and the best practices of the project predecessors in Ukraine that lead to the unifying vision on education quality based on academic integrity.
Academic Integrity and Quality Initiative is a two-year project, funded by the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv (PAS) and implemented by American Councils for International Education: ACTR/ACCELS (American Councils), in cooperation with Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science (MOES), National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and State Service for Education Quality.
