In continuation of cooperation with the Croatian Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE), a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on Thursday, May 6.
ASHE is a public, independent, internationally recognised agency that is, together with its stakeholders, dedicated to an ongoing development of quality assurance in higher education and science, aimed at a continuous quality improvement of higher education institutions and scientific organisations, and contribution to better positioning and recognition of the Croatian higher education and science within the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area.
During the meeting on May 6, the participants discussed, in particular, PhD reform in the countries, the current state and problems in the quality assurance system of higher education, and the heads of agencies invited colleagues to pay a working visit to Zagreb and Kyiv.
The expansion of international contacts contributes to the wider involvement of positive foreign experience in the development of the domestic system of quality assurance in higher education.
