On May 12, a meeting of the Advisory Board Subgroup on Academic Integrity was held. The main topic for discussion was the draft Law of Ukraine “On Academic Integrity”. International experts – Tomas Foltynek and Tricia Bertram Galant and NAQA representatives – Serhiy Kvit, NAQA Head, Nataliia Stukalo, NAQA Vice Head, NAQA members Artem Artyukhov, Tetyana Prikhna, Iryna Zolotaryova and international project manager Albina Tsiatkovska took part in the discussion.
International experts generally supported the approach presented by NAQA and expressed support in combating academic dishonesty and enshrining academic integrity in law. The proposals submitted by the experts will be taken into account during the elaboration of the mentioned bill.
