On Monday, August 9, 2021, NAQA representatives met with colleagues from Wandelwerk, the internal Quality Assurance Centre of FH Münster University of Applied Sciences in Münster, Germany. NAQA was represented by the Vice-Head Nataliia Stukalo, Head of the Public Relations and International Cooperation Department Oleksandra Osiiuk, International Project Manager Albina Tsiatkovska, and Iryna Zhaloba ― specialist of the Public Relations and International Cooperation Department.
Since 2019 the internal Quality Assurance Centre of FH Münster University of Applied Sciences in Münster has been coordinating the DAAD-funded project Training for Higher Education Administrators in Ukraine (THEA-Ukraine). The project is a training course in the field of internationalisation and science management, in which 32 Ukrainian university colleagues have participated so far. Quality managers Petra Pistor and Sonja Mikeska presented Wandelwerk as well as the project, outlined its deliverables and impact on Ukrainian higher education.
Nataliia Stukalo presented NAQA and answered the questions about its activities and peculiarities of Ukrainian QA system.
As the outcome of the meeting, the participants agreed on further cooperation aimed at strengthening the skills of Ukrainian academicians in management and administration, development of internal QA systems in HEIs, as well as, internationalisation of Ukrainian higher education system. Building a mutually beneficial relationship with international partners will definitely have a positive impact on implementing European standards in Ukrainian higher education.
