According to the Decree of 2022/2023 academic year, Zaporizhzhia National University (ZNU) will increase the number of contact hours for the discipline “History of Ukraine” as a compulsory educational component in all study programmes at the first (bachelor) level of higher education (except for specialty 032 History and Archaeology and 014 Secondary Education (history)).

NAQA supports the worthy initiative of ZNU and calls on higher education institutions also to enhance the historical and cultural component of the educational process. Reminding, NAQA issued the Decision of June 21, 2022, which recommends corresponding initiatives.
