All-Ukrainian Round Table “Training of teachers of history, law and civic education at national higher education institutions: experience, challenges and prospects”.

“By training teachers, we are training citizens,” emphasized Andrii Butenko, NAQA Head, while giving the introductory speech to the all-Ukrainian Round Table “Training of teachers of history, law and civic education at national higher education institutions: experience, challenges and prospects”.

During the event, speakers from the country’s leading higher education institutions, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and NAQA discussed the up-to-date purpose, content and methods of training future teachers of history, law and civic education.

Andrii Butenko expressed gratitude to Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University for such important event organization. Also NAQA Head analyzed the main challenges in teaching history. The speaker noted the necessity of a drastic revision of the presentation method and the importance of understanding the correlation between Ukrainian and world historical events.
