On October 4, the forum on academic integrity was held. The event was arranged by Unicheck Ukraine jointly with NAQA. The main idea of the event was the observance of academic integrity in higher education during crisis.
Speakers of the event were: NAQA Head Andrii Butenko, NAQA Vice-Head Ivan Nazarov, NAQA member Artem Artiukhov, Commercial Director of Unicheck Ukraine Andriy Sidlyarenko, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Nataliia Pipa and Vice-Rector of Nazarbayev University Loretta O’Donnell.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the system academic integrity assurance in the higher education institution and its external evaluation, legislative changes and the use of information technologies for academic integrity fostering, shared useful cases for effective compliance with academic integrity principles during crisis situations. At the end of the event, the speakers answered the participants questions.
Adherence to academic integrity is an extremely important area in higher education quality assurance, so NAQA is always actively support initiatives in this field.
