NAQA meeting with the Hungarian Accreditation Commission (MAB).
During the meeting, MAB International Affairs Director Peter Levente Lakatos expressed support for Ukraine and emphasized the fundamental value of human rights and international law. Despite this was the first meeting between the agencies, we cooperated and supported each other with Hungarian colleagues previously at certain international events.
The participants of the meeting discussed the activities of their agencies, achievements, cooperation with foreign colleagues and international organizations. Nataliia Stukalo described the Ukrainian realities and the conditions in which NAQA and the educational system as a whole continue to function. Hungarian colleagues noted the significant amount of work performed by NAQA at such a difficult time for our country.
Besides, the experience of being evaluated by ENQA, the accreditation of the agency by the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME), the principles of institutional accreditation and joint projects were discussed. These milestones are really relevant for NAQA and can serve as a basis for continuing and expanding cooperation with Hungarian colleagues.
