On October 18, the conference “Civil Society Organisations and Human Capital Development in the Context of Lifelong Learning” co-organized by the European Training Foundation and the Lifelong Learning Platform took place in Torino, Italy.
NAQA Head Andrii Butenko and NAQA member Mykyta Andrieiev, who represented the Ukrainian Adult Education Association, attended the event. During the conference, the participants discussed measures necessary for recognizing civil society organizations as critical actors in education and training policies, both at the national and international levels, and the contribution of civil society organizations to lifelong learning. In addition, participants outlined approaches and future opportunities for networking with civil society organizations to support sufficient human capital development in terms of lifelong learning.
