On February 1, NAQA and National Qualifications Agency held a working meeting regarding the consideration of professional standards in study programmes of higher education institutions.
The meeting was attended by NAQA Head Andrii Butenko, his deputies Olena Yeremenko, Nataliia Stukalo, Bohdan Morklyanyk, Ivan Nazarov and NAQA member Olena Kolesnikova. National Qualifications Agency was represented by its Head Yuriy Balanyuk and members Yuriy Rashkevych and Tetyana Semigina.
The participants of the meeting discussed in detail the consideration of professional standards in study programmes and analyzed the problems in assigning professional qualifications by higher education institutions. In order to create appropriate labor market professional standards, it was suggested that employers should be more actively involved in this process.
At the end of the meeting, the participants agreed on further ways of cooperation. NAQA is grateful for a productive and promising meeting!
