On March 8, the world celebrates the International Day of Struggle for Women’s Rights.
Today, in Ukraine we celebrate the women’s achievements in the struggle not only for their rights but also the achievements of Ukrainian women in the independence of our country, the rights and dignity of our fellow citizens. The determination, resilience and courage of Ukrainian women in the face of adversity inspire people around the world. Contribution as servicewomen, doctors, activists, volunteers, scientists, and artists who defend justice and glorify our country is invaluable in the struggle for the freedom of the state.
While celebrating the achievements and progress of women around the world, we also recognize the unique challenges and obstacles women face. We stand in solidarity with you and support your efforts to create a future of equal rights and opportunities for all.
