On May 2, a discussion platform “Ensuring monitoring of the quality of higher medical education: system, criteria, measurements” was held.
The mixed-format event consisted of 3 panels: System, Criteria, and Measurement. Industry representatives 22 Health care and educational experts from the Bogomolets National Medical University, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, The State Non-Profit Enterprise Testing Board for Professional Competence Assessment of Higher Education Trainees in Medicine and Pharmacy at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” and NAQA discussed the key issues of ensuring the quality of higher education and the peculiarities of educational training in medical institutions.
At the event, NAQA was presented by:
- NAQA Head Andrii Butenko with the report on “Application of quality criteria of study programs in the process of monitoring in higher education institutions”;
- NAQA Vice Head Ivan Nazarov with the report on “Academic integrity as a component of the higher education quality assurance system”;
- NAQA member Tetiana Tatarchuk with the report on “Quality of medical training in a higher education institution: problems and challenges”.
The discussion platform has become an important platform for the exchange of thoughts and ideas, critical discussion of presentations and, of course, the search for common visions by various institutions, without which effective improvement of educational processes is impossible.
