Series of meetings related to the preparation of study programmes for accreditation

On June 7, Olena Yeremenko took part in a series of meetings related to the preparation of study programmes for accreditation organized by the Ukrainian Catholic University. Mrs. Yeremenko made a presentation in which she identified the main challenges, tools and institutional practices of ensuring academic integrity. The speaker noted that academic integrity is an inseparable component of the education quality, and its provision within the HEI should be a two-way process, that is, both teachers and students must responsibly comply with its norms.
Students will not have a question about the permitted percentage of plagiarism if the institution teaches the culture of citation in academic writing and works on the formation of values in students and scientific and pedagogical staff regarding the observance of academic integrity.
