The creation of a digital educational ecosystem capable of providing quality education regardless of location is the dream and ambitious goal of the DigiUni (Digital University – Open Ukrainian Initiative) project, which was presented on 11 October at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Nataliia Stukalo delivered a speech on behalf of NAQA, which is a member of the project, and drew attention to the relevance of the idea in the context of a long period of remote learning caused by the pandemic and war. She noted that NAQA keeps the quality of online education in focus and organises the necessary activities, including the study of successful international experience. One of the examples is the webinar «Online education quality assurance», organised jointly with Quality Matters. NAQA congratulates DigiUni on its launch and will assist in the implementation and scaling of the project.
DigiUni is a project funded by the EU under the Erasmus+ programme and will be implemented by a Consortium of 10 Ukrainian and 7 European universities from France, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, as well as a group of systemic partners such as the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science, the Association of European Universities, the Ukrainian Students’ Association, the Ukrainian Scientific and Educational IT Society, the Ukrainian Association of IT Professionals, etc.
