On November 16, the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Development of Internal Quality Assurance Systems in Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions: Qualifications, Assessment and Quality Culture” began, with NAQA as co-organizer.
Andrii Butenko spoke with a welcome speech and as the speaker of the first panel discussion. He raised the problem of balance between control and recommendation elements in the accreditation examination. The speaker gave examples of the experience of European agencies in choosing their unique trajectory of finding such a balance. Andrii Butenko elaborated on whether the evaluation criteria correspond to the conditions of the time and prospects for the creation of independent agencies for the accreditation of study programs in Ukraine.
