On December 7, the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Implementation of State Anti-Corruption Policy in the International Dimension” started at the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The conference was dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day and brought together legal professionals, educators, researchers, and other stakeholders, including foreign partners such as Rolf Holmboe, the head of the Advisory Mission of the European Union in Ukraine, and Karen McTir, the head of the NATO Representation in Ukraine.
The opening remarks at the conference were delivered by the NAQA Vice Head Ivan Nazarov. He discussed legislative changes and proposals from NAQA to the Criminal Code, the Labor Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine “On Advertising,” and other initiatives in the context of academic integrity. He also emphasized the need to promote the principles of academic integrity among students, educators, and other stakeholders, as it is one of the elements in shaping a conscious society.
