In Wroclaw, the outcomes of the project “Green Transition in Ukrainian Universities” (GTUA) were summarized.
NAQA Vice Head Nataliia Stukalo presented the results of the assessment of reports from 7 Ukrainian partner universities regarding their compliance with green standards. The project raised awareness of green standards, facilitated critical self-assessment by universities, and highlighted positive practices in involving stakeholders in green projects. Positive practices also include the involvement of a wide range of stakeholders in green projects and activities, the exchange of best practices in sustainable development, and the development of policies and action plans to achieve sustainable development goals.
NAQA highly appreciates the joint efforts of colleagues from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and Wrocław University of Science and Technology to support green transformations in Ukrainian universities, which in turn contributes to the implementation of the Rome Ministerial Communiqué 2020 and the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
