On 17 January, the first meeting of the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA) took place. The opening speech was given by CEENQA President Franci Demšar, who spoke about the network’s agenda and shared plans for the near future.
During the meeting, representatives of the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) shared the history of the Global Academic Integrity Network (GAIN), its activities and future directions. QQI is a co-founder of GAIN, where the NAQA is a full member.
Representatives of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS), the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (NAKVIS), the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN), the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) and the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (SAAHE) presented the results of their research on “Quality Assurance and Internationalisation”.
NAQA continues to participate actively in meetings to expand the circle of international partners, adapt and implement the best international practices.
