The culture of integrity in universities and effective anti-corruption policy affect the quality of higher education. This was emphasised by Olena Yeremenko, Vice Head of NAQA, during the panel discussion “Higher Education Institution as a Core of Integrity”.
During the discussion, she stressed that the involvement of students as experts in the evaluation and accreditation of study programmes is an important component of increasing the transparency and fairness of the accreditation process.
The discussion took place as part of an event dedicated to the topic of integrity in education and the presentation of the results of piloting the Anti-Corruption and Integrity course. It should be noted that more than 800 students from 10 universities studied this discipline during the autumn semester of 2023-2024.
The event was organised by the Integrity Office of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention.
