On 20 March, Nataliia Stukalo, NAQA Vice Head, delivered a presentation “Development and Challenges of the Ukrainian Higher Education Quality Assurance System in the Context of War” at the CEENQA bi-monthly meeting.
In her presentation, Nataliia Stukalo gave an overview of the state of higher education in Ukraine, outlining the system’s scope and the challenges HEIs have faced due to the full-scale military invasion of Russia. She outlined the activities, achievements and role of NAQA in maintaining the quality of higher education under martial law, and noted the significant progress in adapting accreditation procedures to ESG 2015 and the relevant changes in Ukrainian legislation. In conclusion, she mentioned that NAQA is active not only within Ukraine but also in the international arena, despite the challenges it faced during the war.
