On 04 April, there was a meeting between the representatives of NAQA and the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA).
On the agenda was the possibility of future cooperation for the accreditation of medical study programmes. PKA is currently undergoing the procedure of recognition by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).
At the meeting, PKA was represented by the President of the Agency Janusz Uriasz, Secretary-Deputy President Jakub Brdulak, PKA President’s Commissioner and responsible for accreditation of medical schools Kamil Torres, and Head of International Cooperation Karolina Martyniak.
NAQA was represented by Nataliia Stukalo, NAQA Vice Head, Iryna Simshag, Specialist of the Department of Accreditation of Study Programmes, and Mariia Piddobrivna, Specialist of the PR and International Cooperation Department.
The cooperation between the agencies began in 2020, when the agencies signed a Memorandum of Understanding, and in February 2024 they renewed their intention to cooperate on the basis of mutual respect, integrity and professionalism.
We thank our colleagues for their support and openness to cooperation!
