On April 23-26, NAQA held a strategic session on “Sustainable quality assurance for higher education in times of war” with the support of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine, which brought together NAQA Board members and the Secretariat.
The event was moderated by OSCE experts – President of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Serhiy Kvit and Dean of the Faculty of Health, Physical Education and Sports of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University Georgiy Lopatenko.
Among the key topics discussed during the session were the results of the implementation of NAQA’s strategy for 2019-2023, the formulation of the mission and vision, review of strategic goals for 2024-2026 and directions for their implementation.
In addition, the session included summarizing the results of the implementation of the National Action Plan for External Higher Education Quality Assurance in Ukraine for the period 2022-2023, developing the National Action Plan for 2024-2026 and discussing a new communication strategy. The panel discussions addressed the prospects for implementing institutional accreditation and development of a network of independent agencies.
