On July 19, Oleksandr Khymenko, Head of NAQA Secretariat, joined the discussion “Changes in education: the biggest risks in reforms” held within the VI Congress of the Ukrainian Student League in Vinnytsia.
The discussion was aimed at exchanging ideas and expert thoughts on educational reforms with students. In this context, Oleksandr Khymenko drew attention to the new edition of the Regulations on Accreditation of Study Programmes possibilities. He also pointed out the need for a comprehensive Ukrainian economy renovation caused by European integration processes and the need to rebuild our country. Oleksandr Khymenko highlighted that students are crucial for these changes, and their active participation as the most important stakeholders in the educational process is an integral part of the effective development of the external quality assurance system.
The event was attended by 70 student self-government representatives of Ukrainian HEI’s and 20 NGOs, including Ukrainian Student League partners and its members.
