On March 9, 2020 in Warsaw at the Polish Rectors Foundation the Memorandum of cooperation between the National Agency for Higher education Quality Assurance (Ukraine) (NAQA) and the Scientific Research Evaluation Commission (Republic of Poland) (KEN) was signed. The parties has agreed to cooperate through consultations, exchange of best practices, joint activities in the field of higher education quality assurance on the level of doctoral training and evaluation of the scientific activity of Polish and Ukrainian institutions.
This Memorandum was signed in the frames of Polish-Ukrainian Seminar “Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation of the Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher education and Doctoral Training. The Seminar was moderated by President of Polish Rectors Foundation Prof. Jerzy Woznicki and President of the National Council of Science and Higher Education of Poland prof. Zbigniew Marciniak. The Vice-Head of the NAQA Prof. Nataliia Stukalo has presented the current activities of the National Agencies, its first achievements and challenges. She also has highlighted the potential ways for cooperation and welcomed the opportunities to discuss Polish experience in evaluation of research excellence. The President of the KEN Prof. Blazej Skoczen has also shared the Polish approach to doctoral schools and the excellence in research evaluation. The representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland, Polish Accreditation Committee, Polish Rectors Foundation, the National Council of Science and Higher education, PCG Academic have contributed to the discussion of the quality assurance and evaluation of the scientific research.
