Ukraine continues negotiations on European integration, particularly in the fields of education and science.
On March 14, a bilateral meeting took place between Ukraine and the European Commission regarding the examination of Ukraine’s legislation preparedness with EU law on science and research.
The Ukrainian negotiation team included Natalia Stukalo, NAQA Vice Head, along with Ivan Nazarov, Vice Head, Oleksandr Khymenko, Head of Secretariat, and Anna Shylina, Secretariat Specialist, who also actively participated in the group’s work.
The meeting followed extensive work on harmonizing national policies and processes related to scientific research according to the standards of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). In this context, the establishment and launch of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance is an integral part of Ukraine’s overall European integration process.
