“The accreditation system is based on mutual trust, fairness, and integrity. It is primarily up to ethical institutions to promote these values,” stated NAQA Head, Andrii Butenko, during a webinar for the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science (MESU), dedicated to the topic “Key Parameters of the Internal Quality Assurance System: Application for the Improvement of Third Cycle Study Programmes.”
In his address, Andrii Butenko outlined the scope of NAQA’s activities, changes to the Regulation on Accreditation of Study Programmes, and the experience of implementing remote and blended forms of accreditation, highlighting their relevance in the context of current security challenges. He also focused on updated approaches to the evaluation of study programmes, the prospects and outcomes of the post-accreditation monitoring pilot, and recent innovations by NAQA aimed at fostering a quality culture in higher education institutions.
