NAQA Head, Andrii Butenko, and Vice Head, Olena Yeremenko, were speakers at a series of face-to-face training sessions dedicated to discussing the development of policies to ensure the quality of higher education in higher education institutions. The meetings took place as part of Module 3, ‘Human Resource Management.’ of the Professional Development Programme for Academic Managers, initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and implemented by the British Council as part of a joint project with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, ‘Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results’ (UIHERP).
Face-to-face training sessions were held at Mariupol State University for teams from higher education institutions undergoing training in Kyiv. Teams from Dnipro and Lviv participated online.
During the session, participants discussed topical issues related to the role of management teams in shaping a culture of quality, transparency of management processes, and establishing effective interaction in the academic environment. Speakers shared practical examples, institutional cases, and their own vision for the development of a quality assurance system for higher education in Ukraine.
