The 8th Congress of the Ukrainian Student League has commenced in Kyiv.
A key part of the first day was the panel discussion “Higher Education: Transformation through the Experience of War”, featuring NAQA Vice Head, Nataliia Stukalo.
Participants discussed how the educational landscape is changing under the impact of war, the challenges faced by universities and students, and the role modern technologies and trends play in these transformations.
Ms Nataliia emphasised the importance of supporting the internal resilience of higher education institutions, maintaining flexibility in times of war, and keeping the quality of education a constant priority, even in the most difficult circumstances. Special attention was given to the impact of artificial intelligence on academic integrity and the evolving approaches to learning.
This year, the Congress is taking place across three symbolic venues, each reflecting the ideas of endurance, resilience, and the depth of our history:
- Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine
- National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War
- National Sanctuary “Sophia of Kyiv”
The Congress will run for three days. It is more than a series of discussions – it is a living dialogue, a reflection on the past, and a collective shaping of our vision for the future.
