Participation in the All-Ukrainian webinar ‘Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems and Prospects’

NAQA Head, Andrii Butenko, and NAQA Vice Head, Ivan Nazarov, took part in the All-Ukrainian webinar ‘Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems and Prospects’. At the initiative of the National University ‘Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic’, participants discussed strategies for integrating integrity into higher education, countering challenges and foreign experience.

‘Progress in the country begins with changes in education. We must promote a culture of integrity, and then we will not have to fight against dishonesty,’ emphasised Andrii Butenko.

Ivan Nazarov focused on the regulatory framework for academic integrity, the integration of international standards into higher education, and outlined the role of NAQA in ensuring transparency at all levels of education: ‘We must start not with punishment for academic dishonesty, but with disseminating information about its nature and importance.’
