NAQA Head, Andrii Butenko, took part in a round table discussion entitled ‘Education as a prerequisite for the rehabilitation of veterans and their families.’ The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans’ Rights initiated a discussion on a number of initiatives aimed at integrating demobilised citizens and returning them to peaceful life.
The participants of the round table discussed the need to develop the skills of veterans and their families, access to education and professional retraining, in particular the introduction of flexible study programmes and short educational modules, compensation for the children of veterans, education costs and the provision of broad opportunities in the field of education.
