On September 17-18, NAQA, in partnership with Lutsk National Technical University conducted Ukrainian Quality Assurance Forum (UQAF-2025) – a major event dedicated to shaping the future of higher education quality assurance in Ukraine through dynamic expert dialogue, practical formats, and the exchange of experience.
The forum brought together about 1,000 participants, including international partners in online and offline format – leaders of ENQA: European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, CEENQA – Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education, INQAAHE – International Network for QAAs in HE, EQAR – European Quality Assurance Register, HAKA – Estonian Quality Agency for Education, and NAQA International Advisory Board, as well as Ukrainian state and regional authorities, educators from across the country, students and employers.
A highlight of the forum was the official awarding of institutional accreditation certificates from HAKA – Estonian Quality Agency for Education, as a result of joint HAKA & NAQA project “Enhancement of Higher Education Quality in Ukraine” financed by the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV), to three Ukrainian universities:
– Lutsk National Technical University,
– The National University of Ostroh Academy,
– Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.
This significant milestone demonstrates the development of higher education quality culture in Ukraine and confirms that Ukrainian institutions are confidently integrating into the European educational environment.
UQAF-2025 reaffirmed a powerful massage: quality of education is a shared responsibility, and only through partnership we can build a truly competitive higher education system in Ukraine.
A heartfelt thank to all participants for your engagement, ideas, and inspiration. We look forward to welcoming you to our future events!
