On November 28, 2025, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv hosted the 5th international scientific and practical conference “Development of HEIs Internal Quality Assurance System in Ukraine”. The event was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015).
NAQA Head, Andrii Butenko, delivered a welcoming speech to the conference participants.
NAQA Vice Head, Nataliia Stukalo joined the panel discussion “The Law of Ukraine ’On Higher Education‘ and ESG 2015. Development of external quality assurance systems in higher education – achievements, problems and prospects (national dimension)” as a guest expert. In her speech, she outlined the key challenges and opportunities for improving external quality assurance mechanisms, drawing on national and European experience.
The conference brought together researchers, teachers, students, labour market representatives and education experts from all over Ukraine. It became a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of best practices and joint identification of further steps to improve the quality of higher education in Ukraine.
