On September 25-26, 2019, NAQA held its first training session for expert candidates. That day marked the beginning of a long history of comprehensive training for experts in the accreditation of study programmes in Ukraine.
Since then, there have been almost 400 training sessions. More than 9,000 experts, including over 2,000 students, have participated. In total, there have been over 11,000 participants.
Today, it is a comprehensive system of training and professional development for experts, which includes:
- training for expert candidates, expert group chairs, and chairs of Sectoral Expert Councils on improving their skills in writing reports and Sectoral Expert Councils’ opinions;
- online courses and video lectures;
- thematic webinars and professional seminars;
- methodological materials, manuals, and instructions;
- regular briefings, ongoing information support, advising, and training from fellow experts.
Over the past six years, we have developed a robust training system and, along with it, a community of experts united by a common goal: high-quality higher education in Ukraine. These are people who bring about change in their universities every day and prove that the quality of education is everyone’s business and a shared responsibility.
