On 26 February, the webinar “Models and Tools for Managing Internal Quality Assurance Systems at the University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology” took place. The event was organized by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA) together with the Estonian Quality Agency for Education (HAKA) with the support of the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV).
Representatives of the University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology presented the internal quality assurance systems of their higher education institutions as well as the tools that support effective institutional governance and management. In particular, the speakers demonstrated dashboards that are fully open and accessible to all stakeholders. These dashboards contain consolidated statistical data and analytical indicators necessary for making well-informed managerial decisions.
During the discussion, representatives of the universities also answered a number of questions from participants, including those concerning the key challenges they encountered in the process of developing and implementing such dashboards.
We would like to thank HAKA and the speakers for their insightful presentations and valuable practical experience. We are confident that the practices developed by Estonian universities will be useful for the development of internal quality assurance systems in Ukrainian higher education institutions.
Although the webinar marked the final event within the framework of the Estonian-Ukrainian project “Enhancement of Higher Education Quality in Ukraine” the strong and productive cooperation between HAKA and NAQA provides a solid foundation for further joint initiatives, exchange of experience, and the continued development of quality assurance systems in higher education in Ukraine.
A recording of the webinar is available on the NAQA YouTube channel.
