On 27 February 2026, NAQA Head attended a meeting of the university community of the the All-Ukrainian mental health programme “How Are You?”, initiated by Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska, which this time took place at Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University in Zhytomyr.
During the event, participants met with First Lady Olena Zelenska and discussed the results of implementing initiatives within the programme, challenges in training mental health professionals, and next steps for developing study programmes. The meeting featured a presentation of research findings on the training of non-medical specialists and outlined ways to address the identified gaps. During the strategic workshop, practical solutions were developed and new courses were presented, designed in accordance with international standards and professional requirements.
The implementation of the All-Ukrainian mental health programme ‘How Are You?’ is supported by the Coordination Centre for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, with expert support from the World Health Organisation.
