The National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance held a training session for members of Sectoral Expert Councils, focusing on key aspects of the councils’ role in the accreditation process for study programmes, including the procedures for organising their work and the requirements for drafting expert opinions.
The event was opened by Bohdan Morklianyk, NAQA Vice Head.
Sectoral Expert Councils play a vital role in the external quality assurance of education, providing professional verification of expert group reports whilst taking sector-specific characteristics into account. The training focused on the practical aspects of preparing a SEC expert report: how to apply the Criteria for the Evaluation of Study Programmes and how to ensure that conclusions are evidence-based and well-founded.
