russian forces carried out another attack on the city of Dnipro

Ukrainian cities and educational institutions are continuously subjected to hostile attacks, while educators carry out their work under conditions of constant danger.

On 3 May, russian forces carried out another attack on the city of Dnipro, as a result of which a dormitory of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University was destroyed. A 19-year-old student, Illia Bezbozhnyi, was killed. There are also injured and affected victims.

Regular, deliberate strikes against civilians, educational institutions, and student infrastructure constitute war crimes that are ongoing and must be brought to justice.

NAQA extends its sincere condolences to Illia’s family, as well as to the students, academic staff, and the entire university community. We share this pain with you.
