On 14 May 2026, the State Tax University hosted the opening of the 4th National Forum of Student Self-Governance Bodies. NAQA was represented by Vice Head Ivan Nazarov.
In his address, the Vice Head emphasised the key role of students in fostering a culture of academic integrity. He noted that involving students in the accreditation of study programmes is not merely a formality, but an effective tool for quality control in higher education. Particular attention was paid to updating the legislative framework: it is through cooperation with student self-government bodies that new ethical standards must become clear and binding for every student.
During a lively discussion with representatives of student self-governance bodies from various higher education institutions, Ivan Nazarov emphasised the role of the student voice in educational and accreditation processes, which helps to ensure the quality of higher education.
