On 01 July, Russia launched yet another attack on Kharkiv

On July 01, russia launched yet another attack on Kharkiv. The Kharkiv National Medical University was hit. The university hospital, where doctors were fighting to save the life of a 15-year-old boy, was also damaged.

The attack was yet another blow to the university community: just the day before, on June 29, 23-year-old Fatima Huseinova – a student at Kharkiv National Medical University – was killed in a russian airstrike. The young woman had been planning to celebrate her graduation. Fatima’s unimate, Ada, who was standing nearby, sustained serious injuries.

Kharkiv National Medical University was the place where these young women pursued the noble profession of medicine to save lives.

NAQA extends its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Fatima Huseinova, as well as to the entire faculty and student of Kharkiv National Medical University. We share this unspeakable grief with you. May her memory live on. We wish the doctors strength and a speedy recovery for Ada.
