On 1 August, Nataliia Stukalo, Acting NAQA Head, on the invitation of the Ukrainian Students League (USL), took part in the 10th Congress of the Ukrainian Students League as a panellist in the discussion “Students in the Process of Educational Transformation”.
Participants discussed partnerships between higher education institutions and students, the role of student self-governing bodies, and the future of the higher education quality assurance system.
Particular attention was paid to the “Students as Ambassadors of Quality” project, under which NAQA, in partnership with the USL and with the support of the IT company Genesis, conducted training sessions in Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Lviv cities. Participants mastered the full cycle of agency, which will help to strengthen internal quality assurance systems in Ukrainian higher education institutions.
The quality of higher education is shaped not only by documents but also by active interaction between all participants in the process, with students playing a decisive role in bringing about systemic change.
