NAQA role in the OPTIMA project:

Development of the higher education quality assurance culture and academic integrity system is the major aim of the NAQA activities, so it will contribute to all key objectives identified for this project and particularly to the evaluation of the level of improvement of academic integrity competencies and skills as a result of project implementation, to the training of Ukrainian teaching staff, to sharing best practices in enhancement of academic integrity culture, to dissemination of project outcomes. NAQA representatives will contribute to all project events, including Ukrainian Open Science Forum, trainings on open science and web development & event management in Graz and Wroclaw. In addition, the outcomes and results of the Project will be considered in the NAQA decision-making and policy-development process.

As a lead organisation for WP4 “Project QA”, NAQA will be responsible for carrying out project internal monitoring, risk management and steering, conducting complex Academic Integrity and Open Science surveys in all Ukrainian partner HEIs, evaluation of teaching quality of academic courses in all Ukrainian partner HEIs and consolidation of the information.

In WP1 “Learning EU best practices’ the role of NAQA is to participate in training workshops to gain knowledge of best practices on OS as well as to identify and establish requirements to new subjects on OS.

In WP5 “Dissemination and exploitation of project results” NAQA will carry out promotion of project outputs and activities, publish the project news, key results and achievements online.

In WP6 “Project management” the role of NAQA is to participate in Kick-off meeting in Lviv, provide project coordination and financial management at the institution level.

Project partners are also Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University, Sumy State University, Lutsk National Technical University, National Antarctic Scientific Center. International partners are Graz University of Technology (Austria), Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Poland), University of Côte d'Azur (France), the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (Eurodoc, Belgium), Stichting eIFL.net (Netherlands).
