Scientist in the field of materialsciences: high pressure, functional ceramic composites and dispersed superhard materials. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NAS of Ukraine), of the World Academy of Ceramics (WAC) and of the Euro Mediterranean Academy of Arts and Sciences (EMAAS).
She gained professional experience since 1980 as PhD student, Young Researcher, Researcher, Doctoral Student, Senior Researcher at V. Bakul Institute for Superhard Materials of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (ISM NAS of Ukraine). Since 2005 she is Head of the Department of High Pressure Technologies, Functional Ceramic Composites and Dispersed Superhard Materials at the ISM NAS of Ukraine and in 2001-2022 (in parallel) was Professor of the Department of Chemistry at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA). Since 2022- Leading Researcher at KNUCA. Since 2000 – Member of two Doctors Specialized Scientific Counsials (for the defense of theses): D26.230.01 at the V.M. Bakul Institute for Superhard Materials of the NAS of Ukraine, 04074, Kyiv, str. Avtozavodskaya, 2, and D 26.207.03 at the I.M Frantsevich Institute for Problems of Materials Sciences of the NAS of Ukraine, 03680, Kyiv-142, st. Krzhizhanivsky, 3.
Since 2019 – Member of the Scientific Сouncil of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NFDU).
Her scientific output includes 679 scientific works among which are 7 monographs and chapters in monographs, 331 papers, 307 abstracts and 34 patents. There are 194 publications in Scopus database, her ID ORCID, Scopus h-index 21, Google Scholar h-index 24. Under her leadership and consultation were defended 8 candidates of science (equivalent to PhD) and 1 Doctorate on the speciality 050201 “Materials Science”, she had 9 PhD students and 5 Doctorate students.
She was awarded the Order of Princess Olha, III Class, and the K.D. Ushynskyi Badge of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, a diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the medal of honor “90 years of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”.
