Organiser of military education, educator, leading specialist in the field of communications, automatisation and radio technical support of aviation flights. PhD in Military Science, Professor, Major General.
Professor of the Department of Radio Engineering and Special Forces of the Institute of Aviation and Air Defence of the National Defence University of Ukraine.
One of the active organisers and participants in the processes of creating, reforming and developing the military education system in independent Ukraine. From February 1991 to 1998, he was the head of the department and faculty of the Kharkiv Higher Military Aviation School of Radio Electronics, Kharkiv Military University and Kharkiv Pilot Institute. He headed the Kyiv Institute of the Air Force, formed the Kharkiv Institute of the Air Force, on the basis of which he created and headed the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University.
Since 2006, when he retired from the army, he has been teaching at the National Defence University of Ukraine.
He is the author of about 150 scientific and educational works.
Honoured Worker of Education of Ukraine. He has received state awards.
