Bohdan Morklyanyk

Scientist and educator in the field of engineering and construction, doctor of technical sciences, and professor.
Since March 2022, he has been mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Professor of the Department of Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics of the Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Systems of the Lviv Polytechnic National University. Member of the National Qualifications Agency.
He held the positions of director of the state organization “Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations” (2018-2019), adviser to the First Deputy Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine (2016-2019), vice rector for education and social development of Lviv Polytechnic National University (2008-2014).
He joined the foundation of the Ukrainian Association of Student Self-Government (now the Ukrainian Association of Students). In 1998-2008, he was the head of the primary trade union organization of students and postgraduates of the Lviv Polytechnic National University. In 2002-2005, he was the head of the Board of students and postgraduates. In 2012-2014, he was the chairman of the Grand Jury of the Forum of Publishers in Lviv.
Author of 60+ scientific works, monographs and manuals.
He is awarded with Honorary badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Silver Cross”, Honorary Diplomas of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “For services to the Ukrainian people”, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Economy, Lviv Regional Council, Lviv Regional State Administration, Lviv City Mayor, other departmental awards.
